MUSE, the brand new science museum of Trento just opened his doors to the public. Venue of the museum is the building planned and released by renown architect Renzo Piano. The exhibition is structured starting from the metaphor of mountain and aims to reconstruct the development of life on earth. At the top you’ll find sun and ice, the lower levels and the basement are devoted to issues of biodiversity, sustainability and evolution, while the glasshouse offers a tropical environment.

In Modena “thinking green” is the trend of the moment. This year also the second edition of the event Giardinner, ideated and organized by a youth cultural association called “La Piattaforma”, will be characterized under an ecologist state of mind.

The Swedish architectural firm Belatchew Arkitekter recently presented an innovative project for the city of Stockholm, called STRAWSCRAPER, that came out of the Belatchew Labs. This proposal on how to develop the future of Stockholm has already aroused some of the local politicians’ interest. The main feature of the Strawscraper tower is a dynamic building envelope made of thin straws that can recover wind energy.
